about me

Things that were true, as of September 16, 2007

  • I keep my cereal in jars and close bags with binder clips.
  • I am usually in favor of adding more butter.
  • My silverware is from Filene's Basement, and tastes like metal. I don't like this, but I can't bring myself to buy another set before my next move.
  • I write ideas and notes in a Moleskine notebook with thick pages, which I've attempted to make personal with a big-ass sticker on the front. I have a favorite pen for writing in this notebook; it's a black Faber-Castell PITT artist pen, "S" point.
  • I stare at Bianchi bicycles.
  • The best bike ride I ever went on was in Soquel Demonstration Forest with Brent.
  • I find watching baby pandas on the San Diego Panda Cam very relaxing.
  • If I am exercising, it is probably rock climbing, swimming, or biking.
  • I have been stung by a wasp on the top of my head. And in the shower. (Separate incidents.)
  • I had a car drive over my sandaled foot while I was walking down an alley in Taiwan, at age ten. Nothing broken, but lots of friction.
  • I miss these people very much: Jennifer, Brent, and Ian.
  • I think about these things the most: Ian, food, education.
  • I am listening to Chicago right now, and it is awesome.
  • I prefer to leave the skin on my carrots.
  • I don't like the idea of carrot cake. But I will certainly eat it.
  • I really wish I were less fickle.
  • I deleted 4 more things from this list that have to do with food, because I'm probably just hungry right now.
  • I very often have DVDs on my kitchen table.
  • Ian and I are watching The Office together. We are on Season 3: Disc 2.
  • I like kids.
  • I love dogs, but deep down I think I am more of a cat person. I don't like to admit it.
  • I like to eat my ice cream sandwiches with my left hand, so that I can keep typing.
  • I don't swear as much as I used to. (I would be happy to graph this for you.)
  • Cups of coffee per week: 3-4
  • Desired sleep per night: 9 hours
  • Favorite type of pen: Pilot V-CORN (also known as Pilot V-BALL)
